General Questions
In most states, including California, you do not need a referral to see a physical therapist. However, some insurance plans may require a referral for coverage. We recommend checking with your insurance provider. We're happy to help you understand your coverage.
Initial evaluations are typically 60-90 minutes, allowing time for a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan development. Follow-up sessions are 45-60 minutes of one-on-one care with your therapist.
Treatment duration varies based on your condition, goals, and response to therapy. Most patients attend 1-2 sessions per week for 6-12 weeks. We'll provide an estimate after your initial evaluation and adjust as needed based on your progress.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows easy movement and access to the treatment area. Athletic wear is ideal. For pelvic floor therapy, you may be asked to change into a gown or shorts.
Insurance & Payment
Yes, we accept most major insurance plans. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your physical therapy benefits, including copays, deductibles, and coverage limitations. Our staff can help you understand your benefits.
We offer competitive self-pay rates for patients without insurance or those who prefer to pay out-of-pocket. Contact us for current pricing and payment plan options.
Payment (copays, deductibles, or self-pay fees) is due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
